About bioProcessUK

bioProcessUK is a Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) dedicated to advancing the UK biopharmaceutical bioprocessing sector. bioProcessUK supports the growth of this sector in the UK and activities focus around three key goals:

. Foster bioprocessing community development
. Build a network of bioprocessing Centres of Excellence across the UK
. Attract significant inward investment in bioprocessing assets

Technical Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are open to all bioProcessUK members and currently focus on four key technical areas. SIGs provide a platform for knowledge transfer, through discussion, case studies and applications of bioprocessing technology as well as offering a networking opportunity for like-minded professionals.

bioProcessUK also actively promotes research funding academic and industry members, such as:

. Collaborative R&D and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (TSB)
. Industrial CASE PhD Studentships (BBSRC, EPSRC)
. Bioprocessing Industry Research Club (BBSRC, EPSRC, Industry)
