Health Protection Agency

The Health Protection Agency is a public sector organisation responsible for protecting the health of the UK.

One of the ways that the Agency protects health and prepares for new threats is by undertaking translational research to help develop new healthcare products. This includes the research and development of vaccines against infectious diseases, development and GMP manufacture of biologics products, as well as a wide range of support services from biosafety through GLP immunoassay testing to in-vivo studies.

We have a specialist Process and Analytical Development Group which undertakes a range of services including development and scale-up, product characterisation, analytical development & qualification and process trouble shooting.
